I have to admit: I didn’t appreciate Calvin and Hobbes as a kid. I don’t know why, but I didn’t. I read the Sunday funnies every week, and every week I would skip it. It wasn’t til my freshman year in college, when I was given my first credit card, that I stupidly and fortunately spent $75 on an impulse buy at the USC bookstore, buying 3 Calvin and Hobbes collection books. If you haven’t been properly introduced to this masterpiece yet, take it from me: it’s never too late.
