In case you didn’t know, I went on my first post-grad vacation last weekend.
- Stayed at the Jockey Club. (A hotel. On the strip. That exists.)
- Gambled for the first time. (Blackjack.)
- Won $60, lost $60, lost $100, lost my $1000 camera.
Right next to our hotel faux-tel was the development for Project CityCenter. According to Wikipedia,
CityCenter is a 76-acre mixed use development project proposed (currently under construction) by MGM Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The development will be on the [...] land between the Bellagio and the Monte Carlo, and will be connected to these resorts via a state-of-the-art people mover system. With a total cost expected to exceed $14 billion, CityCenter is proposed as the largest privately financed development in the United States. Unlike other themed resorts along the Las Vegas Strip, plans include multiple high-rise buildings with contemporary urban design.
Check out the website. The entire project is stunningly gorgeous. Here’s a preview.

Since I lost my camera, all I have to show are pictures from my camera phone.
